What's
New?
Web Site Upgrades in Progress
We apologize for both the Family Forum and the entire
Fornof Web Site experiencing some down time lately. This inconvenience
is the result of upgrading the Web host account for the Fornof.org
site and improving its security. All is functioning now, better
than ever. |
The
Family Directory is Back!
Due to the discovery that search engines were finding
the Family Directory, thus compromising its security, we
removed it several months ago. It's back again, protected
from search engines and intruders.
The Fornof
Family Directory is accessible to those people listed
in it. You know who you are. The
Webmistress will be issuing user names and passwords. Need
a list for your party invitations or Christmas cards?
Just
print
it off.
Keep
current.
Know where your relatives are. Visit them, especially
if they live in Tucson and it's winter, or DC and it's
Cherry Blossom Time (early April, usually). |
Congratulations to Ken and
Jen Fornof -
Meet Thomas Andrew!

Thomas Andrew Fornof |
Thomas Andrew Fornof was born
on Friday Dec 17th at 4:26 pm. He weighed 7 lb. 7 oz. and
was 21 inches long. Grandpa George is taking care
of Thomas during the day, and is delighted with his new
charge. Reports are that he and Ken have tried to
get Thomas to run the train set at Christmas. |

Want Your Own Page?
Want your own page on the Fornof Family Web
Site? Anyone can have a page, you just need to: 1. tell The
Webmistress that you want a page, and 2. (this
is the hard part!) send her text and photos to put
on your page. Go for it! Let's fill this space that we
own on the Internet. |
The Fornofs
Have a Web Site!
It all started in Pittsburgh, at Glenn Blackburn's
85th birthday party on January 18, 2003. Brenda and Tom
sat with the George Fornof extended family. The conversation
was lively and jumped wildly from topic to topic. By dessert
(the Blackburn Chocolate Cake) Jill, Dave and Brenda had
agreed to make a Fornof web site and register Fornof.org
as the domain name. From conception to live on the Internet
took one week, since Jill and Brenda paced each other as
out-of-control steamrollers. E-mail messages flew from
Virginia to Pennsylvania and back, day and night. They
were a match, artist and writer, with Dave for tech support. That
Saturday night was truly an evening of inspiration and
celebration. |
